Hi! Remember me?
let me begin by listing all the fun stuff i have done since the last post:
+ work (nearly everyday; this isnt actually fun)
+ go to IHOP at midnight with nathan and billy (twice!)
+ last Wednesday i ran all over Chattanooga looking for my high school transcript (never found it)
+ got my wireless network working (the day after my last post)
+ bought The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide (more on this below)
+ thats all
that book i bought is a compilation (sp?) of 5 or 6 books/stories by Doulas Adams. it contains The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy; The Restaurant at the End of the Universe; Life, the Universe, and Everything; So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish; Young Zaphod Plays it Safe; and Mostly Harmless. it is a very nice looking hard-bound book with expensive looking gold edges on the pages and a very helpful ribbon bookmark. i have almost finished the first story (two chapters left) and i have only had the book 4 days. i am pretty proud of this because this is the first full book i have read since reading The Hobbit in the the spring of 2001.
what else. . .
working at this roadhouse is weird. they keep things in different places and they do things slightly different, but only subtle (sp? i have lost my dictionary) little things that i dont notice all the time. its just weird and hard to explain why.
the end.
p.s. by the way, i am not gonna proof-read this thing, so we are all gonna have to live with whatever spelling and grammar mistakes i have made :)
